Who is Viperus?

Origin Viperus is a member of the evil Changelings lead by Leoninus . The original Changelings are created by Woodgod and they capture General Thunderbolt Ross , Betty Ross , Fred Sloan and Rick Jones . Woodgod places them in their custody after one of their fellow Changelings named Centauron is wounded by an ill Thunderbolt Ross. Centauron was shot while he was looking for Viperus who was freed by Leoninus in order to distract Woodgod so he can create his personal army of evil Changelings. A huge brawl takes place between the original Changelings and the evil Changelings. Viperus attacks Rick Jones and Fred Sloan but is gored by Minotaurus while they held down his tail. The evil Changelings are defeated and the current whereabouts of Viperus are unknown. Creation Viperus was created by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema in 1980 and first appeared in The Incredible Hulk # 251.
