Who is Bette Noir?

Origin Bette Noir is one of the D.N.Aliens, genetic abominations kept at Project Cadmus. Bette Noir tries to leave her grotesque physical form in search of psychic energies which would allow her the freedom she desired. She was drawn to J'onn J'onzz, as he is a powerful telepath. After their first encounter she attacked Dubbilex , and Martian Manhunter was called in to investigate. He stopped her and attempted to rehabilitate her. Later, her physical form was killed by Dr Trap , and her psychic being was stored in his person as a trap for Martian Manhunter. Some time after this, she was roaming free from consciousness to consciousness and encountered Harley Quinn .
