Black Box is a Marvel comic book character, the alter ego of Garabed Bashur, with over 144 comic issue appearances. Black Box, formerly known as Commcast, is a cyberpath who used to work with Cable.

Who is Black Box?

Origin Garabed was once a student of Professor Xavier , who was trained to control his ability. After discovering Garabed's criminal tendencies, Professor Xavier rejected the mutant and banished him from the school. Bashur used the knowledge gathered by his power to collect extreme amounts of fortune and established a new life. Through his fortune and power, he took command of a small mercenary outfit known as the Executive Elite. Creation First written by Fabian Nicieza and drawn by Joe Madureira . Major Story Arcs Near the beginning of this new group, he had changed his name to the alias known as Commcast. Much later, the Executive Elite was the target of the mutant mercenary Deadpool , Deadpool was to assassinate every member in favor to his employer. Deadpool was almost successful in killing the entire group except for Commcast that surprisingly survived the initial attack.
