Blood Spider was trained to be a version of Spider-Man while his team-mates Jagged Bow and Deathshield were trained to be versions of Hawkeye and Captain America . Blood Spider's real name was never mentioned in the comics, but instead was given the name Michael Bingham in 2003's Marvel Encyclopedia. Character History Blood Spider vs. Spider-Man Spider-Man vs Blood Spider Blood Spider along with Deathshield & Jagged Bow would come to Taskmaster's aid to defend him from Spider-Man & anti-hero, Solo . Blood Spider managed to be on par with Spider-Man in skills, however since Blood Spider only used natural talent while Spider-Man had mutated genes, Spider-Man was able to defeat him. Venom: Lethal Protector In a flashback that takes place chronically around the same time as his fight with Spider-Man, Blood Spider would be one of the many villains to hunt Venom, however Eddie Brock would turn his flamethrower onto himself, killing Blood Spider from his burns.
