Who Is Bumblebee? Origin, Powers and Key Facts

Bumblebee is a Hasbro comic book character, with over 711 comic issue appearances. Small but tough Autobot that has an affinity for interacting with humans. He is one of the most well known Autobots and in most incarnations is Optimus Prime's right hand man. The latest incarnations of this character has had a inability too speak and having to rely between hand signs and/or radio channels to make whole sentences.

Who is Bumblebee?

Origin Bumblebee is a sentient alien robot from Cybertron. He journeyed to Earth with the other Autobots to protect it from the Decepticons Creation Originally created for the toy line of Transformers, Bumblebee made his first appearance in the Transformers Miniseries in 1984. This was soon thereafter followed by a monthly series of the same name Major Story Arcs Marvel Comics Continuity When the Autobots and the Decepticons awoke on Earth in 1984, Bumblebee was one of the first to explore this new planet. Eager to see the new lifeforms called humans, Bumblebee was unfortunately injured by a Decepticon and became stuck in car mode. He was found by a human called Buster Witwicky who took him back to his father's garage and repaired him. He was shocked to see the little car transform into a robot, but the two became good friends. Bumblebee was targeted by the Decepticon leader Shockwave as the weakest of the Autobots. He was forced to take refuge in a old car lot and was stolen by two teenagers.
