Who is Byrd?
Adam Booth was a popular and happy young man, but the manifestation of his Nu-Gene made him an outcast because of his feathered appearance. He would be located by the U.S. government and given a spot on the Nu-Gene team, the New Men . He would continue to have difficulties adjusting to his powers, but he seemed to be feeling better when fellow team member Dash began to express an interest in him. However, later during his tenure with the team, Byrd mutated further to have larger wings, sharp talons on his hands and feet, and a feathered head complete with a beaked face. This would push him further into an angry and lonely state of mind. Powers/Abilities Adam's Nu-Gene gives him the ability to fly via large wings on his arms. He also has talons and a beak.
