However, the elder Battle forbade his son from continuing his heroics until he turned 18. Project: Superpowers - When Fighting Yank tried to end evil by capturing his fellow heroes in the urn better known as Pandora's box, Captain Battle and his sidekick Hale Battle were trapped. Upon being released from the urn, Hale Battle took the name Captain Battle, Jr.
