Other Versions In the 2012 Grimm Fairy Tales Holiday Special , a version of the character is shown in a morality tale as a man kills his wife in a domestic dispute during the holidays and then buries her near a snowman, which turns out to be alive. It subsequently kills him. The snowman is later shown to be in the control of Krampus as he is tormenting a group of girls in a shopping mall. When Sela shows up to confront Krampus, the Snowman attacks her.
