Hope Hibbert is the daughter of police-woman Ellen Hibbert. The name and status of her father is unknown. She first appeared in "Sensational Spider-Man" vol. 1 #18 (August, 1997). She was on occassion babysat by their neighbor Anna Watson. Hope did notice Spider-Man coming and going from the Parkers' residence but never figured he was a Parker. Hope has a minor disability, being deaf.
