Origin The being that would become the Inheritor began life as a type of cockroach. It was among the various creatures artificially evolved by the High Evolutionary , who intended for it to be part of his New Men ; however, the Inheritor scoffed at serving humanity, as his kind had outlived every other species on Earth, and he saw humans as just another short-lived species.
