Who Is Phantasm? Origin, Powers and Key Facts

Phantasm is a DC Comics comic book character, the alter ego of Andrea Beaumont, with over 53 comic issue appearances. Once the daughter of a well to do Gotham business man, and girlfriend of Bruce Wayne, Andrea Beaumont becomes a grim reaper for those involved with organized crime in Gotham City as the methodical Phantasm.

Who is Phantasm?

History The Phantasm Andrea was the daughter of Carl Beaumont, who was forced into the debt of Gotham City mob boss Salvatore Valestra. During her youth, her mother died. She spent a lot of time at her graveside talking to her which led to first meeting Bruce Wayne . The two quickly fell in love. Bruce proposing to her; however, she was forced to break it off and move to Europe with her father for their own safety. Valestra sent his premiere hitman after them, who murdered her father. Andrea set about gaining the equipment needed for her revenge. Years later, she returned to Gotham City, where as The Phantasm she began killing off those involved in her father's death.
