Ricochet is a Image comic book character, the alter ego of Rikki Shaefer, with over 137 comic issue appearances. A mutant who bounces like a rubber ball. Ricochet was recruited by the Savage Dragon for the Chicago Police Department, but was later rejected because of her age. She then went on to become a member of Freak Force.

Who is Ricochet?

Origin Rikki Shaefer Rikki ran away from home after an argument about displaying her powers. She began stealing to support herself, and befriended Barbaric. The two were captured and sent to the Mutate Manpower Management Service. After learning the institute was using mind control and that Doctor Vulger had no intentions of rehabilitating superhuman prisoners, Rikki and several others escaped. Finding their way to Chicago, Rikki and several others were recruited by Savage Dragon to serve in the Chicago Police Department. Due to her age, Rikki could not officially serve. She followed Barbaric and the others when they left the department to work on their own as Freak Force. Eventually, she and Barbaric married and had a daughter.
