Who is Romana?

Mary Tamm as the first Romana Romana, short for Romanadvoratrelundar, a Time Lady from the planet Gallifrey , she was a companion of The Doctor during his fourth incarnation. Lalla Ward as the second, post-regeneration, Romana The White Guardian assigned her to be the Doctor's companion during the "Key to Time" storyline, and afterwards she stayed on until "Warriors' Gate". Romana II animated She has appeared in countless spin-off material, many of which show her as the president of the Time Lords. Other Appearances Tom Baker and Lalla Ward appeared in a few 1980 Australian commercials for PR1ME Computers which ends with the Doctor proposing to Romana II.
