Sledge is a DC Comics comic book character, with over 28 comic issue appearances. A sociopathic genetically engineered super soldier with super strength and invulnerability, Sledge holds a vendetta against all things American; he first fought Guy Gardner, but later encountered various heroes.
Who is Sledge?
Origin Sledge is a genetically engineered super-soldier designed by Quorum for the United States Special Forces, with amazing strength and invulnerability. Although a successful result, he was sociopathic, and killed friendly troops as well as the enemy. Unable to serve in the military, Quorum put him in deep freeze until they could find a use for him. When he was finally unleashed upon the world, he carried a vendetta against all things American. He would fight Warror and Steel in Washington D.C.. He joined Martika's affiliaton of Gardner villians. He did join as a member of a Suicide Squad incarnation, beleived to have died he was seen later as a member of The Society, another incarnation of the Secret Society of Super Villains.
