Following a sleepwalking event in which she caused the deaths of at least two police officers, she was invited by Mr Nobody to join the newly-formed Brotherhood of Dada . Creation Sleepwalk was created by Grant Morrison and Richard Case . She made her first appearance in Doom Patrol #23 . Major Story Arcs The Painting That Ate Paris Sleepwalk is sent along with the Fog to Japan to pick up the Quiz . Later, she helps the team steal the Painting That Ate Paris , and is absorbed into the painting along with the team, and the entirety of Paris . Inside the painting, she fights and defeats Cliff Steele .
