Who is Spoor?

Origin It was apparent even at a young age that Andrew Hamish Grave was a mutant. His father was abusive to him and his mother, blaming her for having given birth to a mutant. Andrew's father eventually killed his wife by forcing her to drink paint stripper, but told young Andrew that she'd run away. His father continued to abuse him over the years, even forcing him to eat garbage, causing Andrew to grow up with an intense hatred of both himself and humans in general. He eventually discovered his mutant power to control people through pheromones, and took the name Spoor after he was recruited by Fabian Cortez into the Acolytes . Creation Spoor was created by Scott Lobdell and John Romita, Jr in 1993 and first appeared in Uncanny X-Men # 300. Major Story Arcs The Acolytes As a member of the Acolytes, Spoor took part in an attack on a hospital and killed many human patients. When Excalibur arrived to stop the Acolytes, Spoor tried to coerce Nightcrawler into killing him, but he managed to resist.
